6月の42,400件から、9月は49,600件と上昇、今年初めての増加傾向を示した。
しかし、解雇数の増加傾向もまだ止まらない。
MOM労働省の発表によれば、今年第1四半期の報告解雇数は3,220人、第2四半期の解雇数は8,130人、第3四半期の解雇数は9,120人ということだ。
1月から9月までの、全体の失業者数（家庭内労働者、メイドを除く）は、15万8,700人だが、このうち、13万9,100人がシンガポール非居住者（外国人人材）だった。
失職したシンガポール居住者は、主に、芸術・エンターテイメント・娯楽業界に多く見られた。
逆に、顕著な求人の伸びが見られたのは、公共アドミニストレーション、教育、ヘルスケア、社会サービス、情報コミュニケーション、金融ファイナンス業界。
ファイナンス業界の給与レンジが公開されていて次のとおり。
・コンプライアンスオフィサー、リスクマネージャー：$7,500-$9,300
・ソフトウェア、ウェブ、マルチメディア開発者：$6,250-$9,500
・ビジネスコンサルタント：$5,750-$10,500
・ファイナンスアナリスト：$4,850-$9,000
・システムアナリスト：$5,500-$8,250
今年も残りわずか。
不確かな状況が続きますが、
雇用市場が、来年が今年よりも良い年になるよう祈るばかりです。

Job vacancies in Singapore rose due to job losses by non-residents

Despite the Covid-19 circumstances, 49,600 job vacancies were recorded in September, up from 42,400 in June.
However, number of retrenchments is still on a rise showing 9,120 records in 2020 Q3 up from 8,130 in 2020 Q2 and 3,220 in 2020 Q1 respectively.
A new report found that the total number of people working, excluding foreign domestic workers, fell by 158,700 from January to the end of September. Non-residents made up 139,100 of this.
Residents seem to have lost jobs in the arts, entertainment and recreation sector.
Job increase has been seen in positions for professionals, managers, executives and technicians (PMETs) in sectors like information and communications, professional services, and health and social services.
